The Major Minors Children's Choir is an award winning all-comers community choir just for kids
Based in Upper Hutt, we welcome kids aged 4-18 who have a passion for singing. There are no auditions required, and our singers don’t need to read music to join.
We perform a wide variety of music, including selections from movies, musicals, Disney, jazz, pop, and classical songs that are suitable for children’s voices.
Our extension group The Harmonic Minors
We also have a group for older children and teens to gain more experience in singing and performing, offering them opportunities to enhance their their singing skills.
Where we rehearse and perform
We rehearse on Sunday afternoons in term-time.
3-4pm at The Spot, 651 Fergusson Drive, Upper Hutt
There are a variety of performances planned throughout the year including concerts, public events in Upper Hutt and singing in the Hutt Valley Performing Arts Competitions.
